Jack cares about his beans, where they are from and the people who help deliver a great cup of coffee especially for you. Mió is a coffee farm in Monte Santo de Minas, Brazil, that nurtures, harvests and exports directly to Jacks Beans in the UK where it is roasted by artisans.
Directly trading coffee means that we have a strong relationship with the farmer ensuring that the coffee is top quality and paying more than a fair price directly to the farmer.
The farm spans a total of 1,589 hectares, one third is used for coffee processing, pastures and eucalyptus trees and the rest of land is divided equally between coffee trees and the native forest reserve. Dedicating the same amount of land to the coffee as to the native forest helps preserve the natural characteristics of the area.
